Stephanie Felber is an artist and researcher working in the intersection of Choreography, Photo- and Videography. During her artistic journey she is specially interested and inspired by her all day environment, the subconscious habits and the related questions about social behaviors and structures. Within her work she wants to create a space where different levels of perception can be experienced. In 2015 she created a performance „l atelier de flanerie“ which was founded by Bayerischen Landesverband für zeitgenössischen Tanz (BLZT) aus Mitteln des Bayerischen Staatsministeriums für Bildung und Kultus, Wissenschaft und Kunst and Kulturreferat der Landeshauptstadt München, Debütförderung für freie Tanzgruppen.

„Urban wanderer“ is a presentation of the performance „l atelier de flanerie“ and it is about the research of performative Interventions in city spaces. It documents a choreographic journey along the city in order to experience the environments and to sense and perceive the city. It is about exploring the city in a different way than usually.
“An Investigation Into a Walk” – A walk
walking around and through the streets of Kulturhuset
In this workshop we will pay our attention on the way and the forms of walking. Applying the Situationist „dérive” and the W.Benjamin „Flaneur“, in order to gather movement. The workshop will focus on specific aspects of walking as a fundamental movement connected to artistic space. Synchronized or desynchronized – whether walking together or on our own, our bodies are defined by a multiplicity of rhythms. We will research on the dynamics of walking – how can we transform the walk into stumbles, strolls, rhythms and dances – repeating circling around, going from point A to point B and getting lost inside. These threads weave together both, the external and internal spaces that are constantly being produced by the ways we walk. We will explore and map the surroundings and we will work on the task, how walking can become dancing can become walking.
